My friend,
Some parts of puppy raising are simply too big to handle alone, especially when you are balancing real life on top of it. Crate training, socialization, and leash skills all take repetition, timing, and calm, consistent practice. It is completely understandable if you are finding it hard to give your puppy everything they need during the workday or while managing family responsibilities.
Day training is meant to share that load with you.
This service gives your puppy structured training and socialization support during the day, without the stress or complexity of an overnight stay. Your puppy comes to me for focused work on the skills that matter most at this stage of life: learning that the crate is a safe resting place, experiencing the world in a way that feels manageable instead of overwhelming, and practicing leash skills that make future walks safer and more enjoyable.
While your pup is with me, the goal is not just to “wear them out.” The goal is to build thoughtful habits. That might look like calm crate entries and exits, quiet rest between activities, carefully chosen socialization experiences, and short, successful leash sessions instead of long, frustrating outings. Each day is shaped around what your particular puppy needs to catch up on or strengthen, not a one-size-fits-all routine.
You are part of this process too. At pickup, you will get clear notes on what we worked on, what your puppy is learning, and simple ways to support that progress at home. Day training is most effective when it feels like a relay, not a hand-off – your puppy practices with me during the day, then you have simple, realistic steps to keep things moving in the right direction between visits.
This tier is a good fit if you have a young dog who needs extra support with crate training, socialization, or leash skills, and you want that help to be consistent, kind, and grounded in behavior science. It is also a way to create continuity between what you are working on in private sessions or puppy class and what happens in your puppy’s everyday life.
If you are feeling behind or simply stretched thin, you are not failing your puppy. It just means you could use another pair of hands and a clearer plan. Day training is here to provide both.
